In a first, the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, on Saturday celebrated its ‘Zero Waste Annual Day’ with city’s Mount Carmel Convent School. During the event at Tagore Theatre, no plastic was used, all decorations were of flowers, which were composted on the campus, toilets were clean, food waste was transported to the waste processing facility
