CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday appealed to every family in the state to light an ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ at 7 pm on September 17, as the state launches a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey in public life. The campaign will be organised across Haryana from September 17 to October 17 to take Modi’s journey of public service, good governance and nation-building to every citizen, Saini said. He said the campaign would not merely be a series of programmes, but a broad-based public movement to express gratitude for the prime minister’s commitment to service, take information about his public welfare initiatives to every family and ensure citizens’ participation in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
