ABDM workshop strengthens push for digital Healthcare Integration in Gurugram

Gurugram : In a significant step towards strengthening digital healthcare infrastructure, a district-level workshop on the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was organised at the District Training Centre in Gurugram on Thursday. The workshop was conducted by the State ABDM team in coordination with Civil Surgeon Gurugram, Dr. Virender Baswana, and witnessed active participation from private healthcare institutions across the district. Representatives from the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nursing Home Association, Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), Dental Association, Ayush Department, National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), along with directors and medical superintendents of private hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and healthcare establishments attended the programme. Dr. Disha from the State ABDM team delivered a detailed presentation on the key components of the mission, including the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), Health Facility Registry (HFR), Health Professionals Registry (HPR), and ABDM-enabled Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS).  Participants were informed about the importance of creating ABHA IDs, which will facilitate the development of longitudinal digital health records and enable seamless sharing of healthcare information.
