The Advanced Eye Centre, PGI, Chandigarh received a sum of Rs. 36 lacs from M/s Vardhman Group for the Eye Banking and corneal transplantation. SP Oswal, Padma Bhushan awardee, Chairman, Vardhman Group along with Sh A.K. Kundra, Independent Director, Vardhman Group handed over a cheque of Rs 36 lac to Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI, Chandigarh on Saturday.
