Chandigarh: Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar, while chairing the 26th meeting of the District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) on Tuesday, directed the officers to ensure time bound action on road safety measures. The meeting was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) and representatives of various stakeholder departments, including the Engineering Department, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, Chandigarh Traffic Police, Health Department and other allied agencies. During the meeting, the Committee approved the Comprehensive Security Plan of the Capitol Complex, Sector-1, Chandigarh, as proposed by the Chief Architect, Department of Urban Planning, Chandigarh Administration.
